Professor Xiong Zhanglin was awarded a major project of National Social Science Foundation of China.

Recently, the research and interpretation of the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee of the National Social Science Foundation of the list of major special projects announced by Professor Xiong Zhanglin declared that the project ‘administrative law enforcement discretionary benchmarks and standards of cross-regional articulation of the study’ was awarded the project, which is the institution since the establishment of the fifth major bidding projects of the National Social Science Foundation of the National Social Science Foundation, after the previous four by Professor Zhou Youyong, Professor Liu Yanhong, Professor Meng Hongzhi and Professor Wang Lusheng. 

The major projects of the National Social Science Foundation are the most powerful, the highest level and the most authoritative projects in the field of philosophy and social sciences in China, representing the highest national level of humanities and social sciences research. The Major Project of the National Social Science Foundation is guided by Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, and organises the social sciences sector to conduct in-depth research and interpretation of the new ideas and assertions put forward and the new arrangements and requirements made at the Third Plenary Session of the Twentieth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), to vigorously push forward the theoretical innovations on the basis of practice, and to strive to launch significant results with theoretical persuasiveness and practical guidance significance.
