On January 18th, the 2025 Spring Festival Tea Party of the Law Branch of Southeast University Shanghai Alumni Association was successfully held in Shanghai. Alumni gathered together to reminisce about their friendship and look forward to the future. The alumni association event was organized and hosted by Cui Xiaofeng, an alumnus of the School of Law at Southeast University, an arbitrator of the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, and a lawyer from Beijing Weiheng (Shanghai) Law Firm. Xiong Zhanglin, Dean of the School of Law at Southeast University, Chen Yun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean, Gao Ge, Director of the Alumni Committee, Zhang Malin, Associate Professor Zhang Xuelian, retired teacher representative Zhang Ning, and Dong Guozhen, Director of the Party and Government Office, attended the event.

At the beginning of the tea party, Dean Xiong Zhanglin and Deputy Secretary and Vice Dean Chen Yun delivered speeches. Dean Xiong Zhanglin encourages alumni to continue to leverage their professional strengths, contribute to the development of the legal profession, and add glory to their alma mater. Vice Secretary Chen Yun reviewed the remarkable achievements of the branch over the past year and expressed sincere gratitude to the alumni for their continuous support and dedication.

On that day, alumni from different fields and grades gathered here with great anticipation. After a long separation, everyone reunited and warmly shared their work experiences, life insights, and deep attachment to their alma mater, Southeast University. During the communication session, alumni enthusiastically spoke up. Some alumni have shared their valuable experience in legal practice without reservation, some alumni have conducted in-depth discussions on current hot legal issues, and some alumni have provided suggestions on how to strengthen cooperation between the alumni association and their alma mater's law school. The on-site thinking collision is intense, filled with a strong academic atmosphere and enthusiasm for communication.

This Chinese New Year tea party is not only a gathering, but also a grand event to inherit the spirit of Southeast University and gather the strength of alumni. Alumni expressed that they will take this event as an opportunity to strengthen connections, work together, and make unremitting efforts for the development of their alma mater and the prosperity of the legal profession. I believe that with the joint efforts of all alumni, the Law Branch of Southeast University Shanghai Alumni Association will surely usher in a more brilliant tomorrow. Let's look forward to the next gathering together and write a more exciting chapter for the legal professionals at Southeast University!
